Type One’s pricing for typesetting is based on cost per page. Please call 608-444-1868 or email Type One for a quote, and don’t forget to ask about incentive pricing for first-time customers. Type One's page price includes the following:
- Template setup in Adobe InDesign CS2
- Conversion and coding of supplied text files
- Sample pages
- Typesetting
- Page inspection
- Two sets of proofs at each pass
- Final printer-ready PostScript or PDF files
- CD archive of the final InDesign files, final PostScript or PDF files, and associated art files
Fixed rates for items not covered in the page price include:
- Alterations to type: $1.25/insertion point or line
- Art creation: $39/hr.
- Design modification: $39/hr.
- Display equations: $1.25/line
- Edit insertion: $39/hr.
- Extra proofs (two sets incl. at each pass): $.05/pg.
- FPO (For Position Only) scans: $5.25/scan
- Global modifications to design or content: $39/hr.
- Importing artwork: $1.25/import
- Line scans: $6.00/scan
- Modifications to artwork: $39/hr.
- Remade PostScript or PDF (final product only): $2.50/pg.
- Shipping: at cost

- Simple: $5.50/ea.
- Moderate: $8.00/ea.
- Difficult: $10.50/ea.
